Footpath Holidays is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
What information will we collect?
We do not identify individuals who visit this site unless they volunteer information through one of the forms on the website or by sending us an email.
The information requested will vary depending upon your reason for contacting us:
- If you ask us to send you a copy of our brochure we will need to know your name and full postal address
- If you use our availability check form we will ask you for your name and E.Mail address so that we can respond to your enquiry
- Picnic lunch to carry on the walks.
- If you use our online booking/payment facility we will ask you for full contact details, including postal address (so that we can send your tour information), telephone number (in case we need to contact you as a matter of urgency), E.Mail address and sufficient credit/debit card details to enable us to process your payment.
What will we do with the information we gather?
If you request a brochure or book a holiday we will add your name and postal address to our mailing list and will send future brochures and newsletters relating to services provided by Footpath Holidays. If you no longer wish to receive information, let us know by e.mailing enquiries@footpath-holidays.co.uk or by post to our postal address, and we will immediately remove your name and address from our database.
Footpath Holidays does not send unsolicited E.Mail, however, we may, in due course, launch an online newsletter to be distributed on an ‘opt-in’ basis.
Financial details submitted via our online booking/payment facility will be used solely for the purpose of processing the booking and then immediately deleted from the secure server.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online including encryption on our online booking/payment facility.
Footpath Holidays will not sell, exchange or distribute any of your personal information. We will not divulge your details to any third parties unless you specifically ask us to do so, or unless we are required to do so by law.
Our website contains links to other websites which may be of relevance to our visitors. Footpath Holidays is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites.
We do not use cookies.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you may request details of personal information which we hold about you by email or post.
If you believe that any personal information we are holding is incorrect or incomplete, please write to us by letter or by email as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
