Footpath Holidays: About Us

A Family Company

Footpath Holidays was founded in 1983 and is now in its 25th year of operation. It is owned and managed by Suzanne and Ian Newman from their home in rural Wiltshire, where they live with their twin teenage daughters. Suzanne has walked and mountaineered throughout Britain, as well as the Alps and Pyrenees. Ian gained his mountain leadership certificate in 1987 and has walked and mountaineered extensively in Britain and worldwide.

When you contact our office you will always be speaking to someone directly involved in planning and leading walks.

For those of you who have been on a Footpath Holiday before the arrangements will need little introduction. For those of you joining one of our holidays for the first time we hope our web site will answer most of your questions.
