Kettlewell, our base for the final five days of the of the Yorkshire Dales Centurion Walk, is an attractive village situated in Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Kettlewell has a good general store where the makings of a packed lunch can be purchased and several pubs offering food in the evenings.

The daily meeting point in Kettlewell will be the National Park car park on the north side of the bridge.

How to reach Kettlewell by public transport

The nearest railway station to Kettlewell is Skipton (fifteen miles distant). Guests approaching Kettlewell from Sedbergh will need to take the train from Kirkby Stephen to Skipton. There are five or six trains a day; journey time 70 minutes. From Skipton there is a limited bus service (Pride of the Dales service No. 72R) to Kettlewell; journey time one hour.
