Coleridge Way - Minehead
Minehead, our base for the Coleridge Way, is the most westerly town in Somerset. The hills of Exmoor rise to the south and west, and the Quantock Hills to the east. A popular resort has grown up around the attractive Old Quay with its steep alleyways and quaint cottages. Minehead has all the facilities that one would expect of a busy seaside town, including a wide variety of shops, hotels and pubs offering bar meals in the evening.
The daily meeting point in Minehead is outside the West Somerset Steam Railway station which located on the seafront, at the eastern end of The Esplanade.
