Buxton, our base for 'Classic Walks in the Derbyshire Dales', is a popular spa town, holiday resort, festival venue and world-famous cultural centre. It has a lively theatre, opera and arts scene, a wealth of Georgian and Victorian architecture, acres of public gardens and, of course, the thermal spa. Buxton has an excellent range of services and facilities, and a a wide variety of pubs and restaurants which serve food in the evenings.
The daily meeting point in Buxton is outside the Tourist Information Centre.
