Great Walks on Exmoor

4 days walking, based in Dunster

Our tour base

Exmoor is the smallest of England's National Parks, but packed with a great variety of scenery, including colourful heather-clad hillsides, sun-dappled oak woodlands, quiet river valleys, a splendid coastline and a wealth of unspoilt villages. Wildlife abounds and includes the last of England's native red deer herds, wild Exmoor ponies, otters and birds of prey.

Highlights of the four walks we have selected include Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor; Bossington Hill with its splendid coastal views; picturesque Selworthy village; Watersmeet and the deep pools of the River Lyn; and the atmospheric Doone Valley. The historic village of Dunster makes an attractive base for this tour.
