Fife Coastal Path

7 days walking based in St Andrew’s

Our tour base

The Fife Coastal Path was established in 2002 and stretches for 83 miles (133kms) along the east coast of Scotland from the Forth Bridge to the Tay Bridge. The Fife Coast, which is often referred to as the 'Scottish Riviera', is a charming mix of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, attractive fishing villages and historic towns, and an area rich in both historical interest and wildlife.

Highlights of the walk will include the fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, Elie and St Monan's; the splendid Forth Bridge with views of Edinburgh beyond; the golden sweep of Largo Bay; Ravenscraig Castle; Tentsmuir Point National Nature Reserve; and the superb town of St Andrew's - our base for this tour. St Andrew's is famous for its historic cathedral and castle, as a seat of learning and, most notably, as the home of golf.
