As well as exploring the valleys and lakeshores this tour will head for the high ground and the highlights of our chosen walks will be views from the summits of Helvellyn, Bowfell and Fairfield; the view of the Langdale Pikes from Loughrigg Tarn; the rocky ridge of Helm Crag; the lonely beauty of Easdale Tarn; and the serene aspect of Grasmere from Loughrigg Terrace.
