Weavers’ Way - Cromer

Tour Details

Cromer our base for the Weavers’ Way, is the centre of the Norfolk crab fishing centre and the old town is a huddle of fishermans’ cottages and narrow streets, with colourful boats drawn up on the beach. Although the miles of sandy beaches attract holiday makers these seas are fraught with dangers for the fishermen and the old lifeboat station houses a fascinating museum detailing rescues down the years.

A popular resort has grown up around the old town and there is a wide variety of shops, hotels and pubs offering bar meals in the evening.

The daily meeting point in Cromer is the Tourist Information Centre in Prince of Wales Road.
