Booking Information
Availability Check
As a first step towards booking your short walking break we recommend that you check that suitable accommodation is available for your preferred dates by either telephoning our office, completing an availability check form (button adjacent to each tour on the website), or sending us an e-mail. If accommodation is available we will hold it on a provisional basis for up to 7 days to give you time to make a final decision, and formulate travel plans. After that time we will require a deposit of £60 per person, per tour, or full payment if the booking is being made within four weeks of commencement of the tour.
Booking confirmation/payment
If you wish to go ahead and confirm a booking please read our booking conditions and then either:
1. Send us your details and payment using our secure online booking facility.
2. Print a copy of our booking form and either fax it to us on +44 (0) 870 2206901, or mail it to us at the following address:

We can accept payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Eurocard) or by cheque drawn on a British bank account. Cheques should be made payable to Footpath Holidays.
3. Guests who wish to pay by direct transfer to our bank account should complete the booking form and contact us for the necessary bank account details.
Booking confirmation
On receipt of your booking form and deposit we will send you confirmation of your reservation and an invoice for the balance of payment. The balance of payment must reach us at least eight weeks prior to the commencement of the tour and the due date will be detailed on the invoice. If the balance is not received by the due date we cannot guarantee to continue to hold the reservation and may cancel your booking. If we do cancel your booking in such circumstances we will retain your deposit and apply cancellation charges.

The pack of maps, guidebooks, and tour information will be sent to your home address approximately two weeks prior to commencement of your trip. For tours booked at very short notice we may need to send basic information by E.Mail and maps and guidebooks to the hotel or guesthouse.
