The man-made features in this wonderful countryside - dry stone walls, barns, and stone-built villages - blend perfectly with the landscape and only serve to enhance the feeling of timelessness and solitude. Few walkers can content themselves with one visit to the Yorkshire Dales.

Guests on these tours will be able to enjoy the timeless beauty of Wensleydale and Swaledale; take in the waterfalls at Keld and Aysgarth; and visit the charming Dales villages of Muker, Askrigg, Bainbridge, and West Burton.

The multitude of excellent paths in the area enable us to provide itineraries for both ‘Easy’ and ‘Moderate’ grade tours.

Bed & Breakfast option

Your holiday in the Yorkshire Dales will be based at a comfortable family-run guest house in the bustling market town of Hawes. Your room will have ensuite facilities (private bathroom) and you will have a choice of continental or full English breakfast. Hawes has a good range of pubs and restaurants serving meals in the evening.

Dinner, Bed & Breakfast option

Your holiday in the Yorkshire Dales will be based at the The Stone House Hotel [ETC/AA***], a classic country manor house and garden situated at Sedbusk in the heart of the Wensleydale countryside and close to the famous market town of Hawes. The Stone House Hotel is a family-run establishment with an excellent reputation for comfort and cuisine, and an idyllic location in which to base a walking holiday. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities (private bathroom).
